During a two-day visit to the Republic of Korea, the AIR Center delegation held a number of important meetings. 

Meetings with the academic staff of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Studies Department at the Seoul-based Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and university vice-rector Kim Min-Jeoung were held. The AIR Center delegation also met with Amb. Lee Moonhee, the President of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, and Ms. Lee Te Rim, the Professor of the Department of European and Russian Studies. The prospects of cooperation between the institutions were mulled.

At the same time, AIR Center Chairman Farid Shafiyev had a meeting with Park Jang-ho, the General Director of the Bureau of Strategic Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. Bilateral relations were discussed, and views were exchanged on issues of regional and global importance.

The Seoul-based Global Green Growth Institute was visited on the last day, where discussions on COP29 topped the agenda.
