A delegation headed by the Chairman of the AIR Center Farid Shafiyev visited Ankara from 18 to 22 November. During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by the Head of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh Tural Ganjaliyev and other members of the community. They held meetings at the leading think tanks of Turkey: the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV), the Center for Strategic Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA), the Institute of Strategic Thinking (SDE), the Center for Middle East Strategic Studies (ORSAM) and the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVIM). AIR Center Chairman Farid Shafiyev shared information on the newly established center and noted that one of the main goals of AIR Center is to expand cooperation with think tanks all over the world and especially in the neighboring countries. Farid Shafiyev also stressed that one of the main areas of the center`s activity is the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, its study as well as bringing it to the attention of the international community. In this context, Head of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh Tural Ganjaliyev informed about the community and its activities.

Participants of the meetings discussed the prospects of cooperation with think tanks, joint projects and conferences, and expressed mutual interest in cooperation.
