A new issue (Volume 1, Issue 2, Winter 2020) of the Journal of Caucasus Strategic Perspectives (CSP) entitled “Armenia and Azerbaijan: Between Failed Peace and War” has been released

The current issue is dedicated to the latest 44-days war between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone with focus on different aspects of the conflict and the war. The CSP’s new issue includes 6 articles, 7 commentaries and 2 book reviews. In the framework of Armenia-Azerbaijan confrontation, the CSP’s current authors analysed the role of ideology, western media coverage, economic issues, illegal activities, multilateral diplomacy, international reaction, as well as humanitarian and geopolitical issues.

CSP is a Baku-based semi-academic journal on foreign policy and is published on a biannually basis. It seeks to present a global and regional perspective on issues affecting the Caucasus neighborhood and focuses largely at the role of the region in international contexts and policymaking. The journal includes perspectives from policymakers, area specialists, political activists, and diplomatic professionals along with academics of different countries and backgrounds. CSP journal is published by the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center).
