On February 12, 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) and the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA).

The document, signed by Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the AIR Center, and Mohammed El Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Ambassador (Ret.), and Chairman of the Board of the ECFA, outlines the principal areas for deepening academic cooperation between the two think tanks.

The parties also discussed developments in the Middle East, as well as other issues of mutual interest, and underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation with Egyptian experts within the framework of conferences planned to be held in our country.
