Vienna hosted a roundtable on Azerbaijan-European Union relations and the regional situation in the South Caucasus with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Austria.
Organized by the International Institute for Peace, the roundtable featured the representatives of local think tanks and experts.
In his opening remarks, Hannes Swoboda, the president of the International Institute for Peace, informed the roundtable participants about the issues standing on the agenda.
Later, AIR Center’s Chairman of the Board, Farid Shafiyev, delivered a comprehensive speech on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities and agenda, the restoration and rehabilitation works carried out in the lands liberated from the Armenian occupation, emerging complications, like the landmine problem, as well as the relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
The event concluded with a Q&A session.
