AIR Center Scholarship Awards Program (ASAP) is launched to offer international scholarship to foreign students, experts, scholars, academics and non-profit organization experts. The ASAP intends to award over scholarships for postgraduate study and professional development each year. The scholarships are provided by the ASAP Selection Committee in collaboration with the local universities and AIDA program respectively. The ASAP is awarded to individuals with demonstrable leadership potential who also have strong academic backgrounds and a strong vision for the future.

The main purpose of the scholarship is to enhance studies about Azerbaijan and the region as a whole.  We welcome fresh and creative perspectives and ideas in strengthening international peace and security, especially on the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, identifying and preventing foreign threats to Azerbaijan's sovereignty. Strengthening its foreign relations and diplomatic engagements with other countries as well as international and multilateral organizations at the regional, continental and international level, and rising role and strengthening the international reputation of the state, its increased regional weight and importance are the key goals of the ASAP.

The ASAP is a unique opportunity helps to build intercontinental bridges. The AIR Center is an open platform giving access to a wide range of exclusive academic, professional, and cultural experiences by providing training for skilled and qualified students, professionals and academics. Within this platform ASAP kicks off exclusive program of events and activities, enabling scholars to experience Azerbaijan’s heritage and history, discuss international policy, and interact with thought leaders and experts at a range of academic, cultural, and social events.

If your application is successful, the ASAP will notify you via email that you have been provisionally selected.  You are expected to adhere to high standards of behavior and to show respect to local traditions and guidelines set by the AIR Center. Foreign applicants are expected to reside in Azerbaijan throughout their award, and to return to home country after the end of the award.
