Lala Khalilzade is a Leading Advisor at the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center). Her research focuses on the domestic and foreign policies of Arab countries, with a particular emphasis on the Middle East. She completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees with honors from Baku State University. Previously, she worked as a lecturer at the same university. Ms. Khalilzade also completed an internship at the military attaché’s office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Azerbaijan.

She is the author of numerous scholarly and analytical articles published in Arab media. In addition, she is an editor for Arabic Wikipedia and has authored over 1,000 articles in Arabic. She is also the author of the book “The Armenian Diaspora in the Middle East” and served as the scholarly editor of the Egypt-published book “Shusha and the Construction of the Future: Geography, History, and Culture.”
