A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Center for the Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) and the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. The memorandum envisages the organization of joint events and conducting research. During the discussions, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the AIR Center, outlined Azerbaijan's approach to the Middle East and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between think tanks. He highlighted the need for practical steps to advance cooperation. For his part, Hasan Al Momani, the Director General of the Center for Strategic Studies, expressed Jordan’s interest in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan. He noted that Track 2 diplomacy, particularly through academic and intellectual engagement, could play a constructive role in fostering bilateral ties. Another meeting was held between the delegation of the AIR Center and Director of Communications, Analyses, and Partnerships at the Amadeus Institute of Morocco, Amine El Kabbaj. Both parties underscored the significance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year and emphasized the need to enhance practical collaboration, including joint research initiatives and other activities. In addition, a meeting was held with the representatives of the AIR Center met with Ibrahim Ethem Atnur, Dean of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense’s Land Forces School, where they reviewed various aspects of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations and discussed prospects for cooperation between their respective academic and research institutions.
