As part of the institutional reforms aimed at improving public administration in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the public legal entity “Center of Analysis of International Relations” was reorganized pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 20, 2026. As a result of this reorganization, the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism was incorporated into the Center, and the public legal entity “Center for Analysis of International Relations and Multiculturalism” was established.

Pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 22, 2026, the Charter of the public legal entity “Center for Analysis of International Relations and Multiculturalism” was approved. The Charter defines the Center’s areas of activity, responsibilities, and governance arrangements.

The media and the public are requested to use the following official names when referring to the Center:

Azerbaijani: Beynəlxalq Münasibətlərin Təhlili və Multikulturalizm Mərkəzi (BMTMM)
English: Center for Analysis of International Relations and Multiculturalism (AIR Center)
Russian: Центр анализа международных отношений и мультикультурализма (ЦАМОМ)

In accordance with its Charter, the Center will conduct fundamental research on international relations and security issues, communicate the position of the Republic of Azerbaijan on these matters to international public, political, and academic audiences, and provide state bodies (institutions) with research-based analytical materials.

The Center will also continue its work in promoting and protecting tolerance, cultural, religious, and linguistic diversity, advancing Azerbaijan’s image as a global center of multiculturalism, studying and promoting existing multicultural models within the framework of the ideology of Azerbaijanism.
