On May 6, 2025, the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of international relations and foreign policy research.

By fostering closer ties between the AIR Center and IPIS, the agreement is expected to contribute to greater understanding and dialogue between Azerbaijan and Iran, particularly on strategic issues impacting the South Caucasus, the Middle East, and broader international dynamics.
