The AIR Center delegation held meetings in Kazakhstan

On August 19-20, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations, Farid Shafiyev, and the Center's leading advisor, Nagi Ahmadov visited Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the visit, in addition to participation in the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Expert Council held in Nur-Sultan with the joint organization of the Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the AIR Center held meetings with a number of other think tanks.

At the meeting with Amangeldi Tajenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the prospects of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations were discussed against the backdrop of recent geopolitical events in the region and the world. The parties agreed to continue the relations between the two think-tanks in the future and to carry out joint publications. At the meeting, held at the "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" International Association, views were exchanged with Secretary General Gaidar Abdikerimov on the upcoming challenges related to the development of the Middle Corridor and ways to solve them. In the meeting with the president of the International Turkic Academy, Darkhan Kidyrali, the parties reached a common conclusion that the cooperation of the scientific and academic institutions of the Turkic states is an important element of the general integration processes.
